Where to find the DirectX SDK.

I recommend waiting for the DX7 SDK to be released. It is supposed to be "any day now". It will be at: http://www.microsoft.com/directx

There are sites that still have the 6.1 SDK available for download, but I can't remember them off of the top of my head.

It's available NOW. Just follow this link. It's a whopping 129MB, but that's still better than 1.1GB.

As much as I have been obsessive compulsive about checking on it, I can't believe I just missed that! Hehehehe...

Is DirectX 7 available for download through any ftp sites?

I don't think my browser can continue broken downloads. It's huge.

Thanks, microsoft's website is hard to handle (I should have known).

Tank2K: Try searching for a utility named:
GO!ZILLA, it can resume broken downloads, leech files, and a lot of other neat things.

Finally got my hands on VC++ 6.0.
But before I can program (learn) DirectX I must find the software development kit.

Only one problem:
Where can I find it?
I found the platform SDK but this is HUGE (1.1 GB). I don't think I need that.

Any solutions?
