I need a list of network libraries...

Hi, our team leader told me that we're staying away from winsock. Please give me a list of network libraries that I could use with C++, it would be good if they're cross-platform. I'll do additional research from there. Thanks!

Check out MFC winsock wrapper. Also there's qT from Trolltech.

I would stay away from the MFC socket classes; they are known to be quite buggy at times.
