Clipping

You could look at the clipper interface included with DirectDraw, but you can't use it along with BltFast. This shouldn't matter if all your images are in video memory because with hardware acceleration Blt is just as fast as BltFast.

Is their any way I can get a bit of clipping
going in direct-x?

ie: I have a bitmap for my cursor and I want
to move it right up to the right hand side
of the screen. When the cursor is partially off screen and I try to blit the cursor
to my buffer the whole thing disappears.
