My first song!
I've gone and written my first song. It's not very long (a little over 30 seconds) but it's still something. I mostly fiddled around on the guitar to figure out how it should sound, then put that into Noteworthy and recorded it playing the song (original midi file).
I call it "Home"
Comments and criticism welcome.
I like the DARK layout!
Rather simple. Reminds me of my own days with Noteworthy Composer. I think I myself also put together a song with that exact same guitar note progression way back when. Keep working with it; how long have you been using Noteworthy?

I first discovered Noteworthy several years ago, but I only play with it once in a while. I guess total I have maybe 20 total hours of experience with it.
Edit: The song is just G D G A G. Simple stuff. I can't really do anything more complex because it still feels like I'm locked in by the keys and stuff instead of being able to control them (if that makes any sense).

I couldn't hear a difference between the MIDI and MP3 except the MP3 has audio artifacts due to compression.
What is it you are going for? It's not bad, but there's not much to critique. A look at the waveform shows a very mechanical performance with a little too much 500k warmth.
What kind of critique are you looking for?

The second file is an OGG VORBIS file. It uses lossless compression. Why would you hear artifacts?
