Well now, my sprite program seams to work quite well with different types and sizes. So I went into LW and PS and created some last night and today. I figured I should at least try to make some of my own sprites. I have made two coin sprites silver and gold, each have 20 32x32 frames in a 256x128 image. Some frames are wasted space, but I wanted to keep the image size even with multiples of 8. The 20 frames I could of stretched to 32, but I decided not too for some reason. I also created two heart sprites, both have a white and red side and one of the sprites have a chrome cross in the center of it. They also have 20 32x32 frames in the same image size above. I also compiled an explosion sprite I found on the net that is said to be from half-life. I’m not to sure because I’ve seen this sprite around before in different forms and different amount of frames. The explosion has 16 64x64 frames in a 512x128 image. Next I have a bitmap font I created with Bitmap Font Builder and edited in PS. It has a very small bar gradient applied to it. Small as in color changes are less noticeable, but still noticeable. All these images are 32-Bit bitmaps. They have alpha channels that I have blurred to give each sprite a some-what drop shadow via alpha blending. I would like to post these sprites for people to use or send any of them to who ever would like them, but I have no way of posting them. So if anyone wants them, email or post here.

Those look pretty good! I'm not doing anything sprity, but you should make them on demand and/or sell them. Keep it up.

Looks nice. I assume you modelled these, captures some shots at a regular interval and reworked them?
Create-ivity - a game development blog Mouseover for more information.
he probably modeled them, rendered them all out as individual frames (the animation) and then deleted every ___ frame.

What kind of license are you applying to thes sprites? Like does one need to do if they want to use a picture? Specifically, Im interested in the font.
I'm afraid that I can't view them. When I click on the links, it says that the site cannot be found. The images don't show up either.

did you read this?
"The GeoCities web site you were trying to view has temporarily exceeded its data transfer limit. Please try again later."
geosites is a free webhosting site and because of that gives users very little bandwidth per month, he simply exceeded his amount, probably because he posted the link opnely and a ton of people downloaded his sprites.
there are such sites as megaupload.com, fileplanet and others if you want to host files for a while, or if its not too large i wouldn't mind hosting a few for you sakky, i have 5 gigs server space and 100 gigs monthly bandwidth.

well sakky, you can always use yousendit.com , a site that basically allows you to send large files, up to 1 gig, to people through e-mail, and so it bypasses any limitations hotmail or any other e-mail has.

Thanks for the complements guys. I had fun making them sprites that I did and I would like to make more. So I will.

I can’t put to much on geocities because of the bandwidth limit. But, sometime in the near future I will either get a site up or someone will hopefully lend me some internet that I may post my work.

Remember, all my stuff is free and I only require that you at least be happy with it and make use of it. Just as the lord has shown me, the best things in life are for free. Sprites are a far cry from that, but at least I fallow his good example, which is more then I can say for my past.

So if ye want thou sprites, let thou asketh and thy shall recieveth in the name of the lord. God bless.
