AI Books or Tutorials

Hello, Right now I am getting off the ground with development of my commercial FPS game, Warlords of Earth. The game has a strong emphisis on multiplayer aspects of the game with deathmatch coop, story coop, deathmatch, coop arcade, and RECON (32 players vs. 32 players). I am going to also try to add in an attractive storyline that will pull in the player, and with that I would like to have good AI to implement into the solo mission mode. I really need help with AI programming though. I would like to find some tutorials or a book that will easily be able to be implemented into any game engine, and shown in a way that is easily understood so I could go through and learn some customization techniques. Can anybody give a helping hand to me with that?
Can't give you any help here. Sorry about that. Programming Game AI by example is okay for starters.
