This is a bit too shallow to be house music. The lead is kind of annoying. You could use some mixing and tweaking with the sounds to make them work together, instead of a bunch of synths fighting with each other. If you can fix these issues, I'm sure you can make authentic sounding house music.
Well I believe in being honest as well...
And I like it for the most part. It's not something I'd just listen to, but I could definitly see using this in a game. I can say it seems to resemble a large collection of everything though (because of the parts that I don't care for), but the parts I like out of it are: 0-1:32, 2:10-3:27. Those other parts not mentioned do get a bit annoying, just something about that sound, doesn't fit in with the overall sound. If you could cut those out and put in something else, I htink it'd make a good game song. Keep up the good work! It's definitly better than what I can do [wink]. What did you make it with?

In the middle of the song, a heavy beat pattern starts to play, and it sounds like it's skipping a beat
or something is not right about it. And the ending sounds like some guy is taking a fart or something.
Hey, I'm being honest. :)

it's not good house music at all
Its sort of electro house. I thought it was very well done. Sounds like a lot of simsynth preset riffs but for someone who doest know what simsynth is it wont matter at all.

Man, I just posted to your "funky-funk" track which I was digging. This is... well...
Your bass synth saturates badly (meaning that the soundwaves exceed the maximum, causing them to "clip" and create distortion).
There's no point of reference. This could be called the "hook" in most cases, but in this case, there's too much going on. I can't just listen. My auditory system is too busy trying to follow.
Wild pitch-shifting. Not cool. Your listeners don't want to hear that.
Check out some Skylab, Armin Van Buuren (a DJ), Phase, Matt Darey, etc. Go to pandora.com, create stations by all of the above and take notes. I'm not saying to center your music around dance/trace/etc. (I'm a rocker myself) but it's good to know (especially if you're dealing with game music.
