Promise FastTrak SX4060 2.6 drivers

A faulty disk recently hit me pretty hard in the file system, so I was thinking of migrating all my stuff to a RAID array. I've looked around a bit, and the Promise FastTrak SX4060 seems like a pretty good choice. The problem here is drivers. Is there a working Linux 2.6 driver for this card? If not, is there any other RAID 5 card with Linux 2.6 drivers you can recommend? It has to support IDE and, obviously, at least three disks. Preferrably one that isn't expensive as hell (the price of the SX4060 is pretty much what I want to pay for a RAID card), and none of that software crap either. Tough requirements, I know, but if this card manages it so should another one, right? EDIT: Oh, and if those requirements would happen to be too harsh (which I think they might be [sad]) I'd still appreciate additional info about any 'good' software RAID5-capable controllers and wether this is a viable solution on a home workstation/desktop.
