Anyone interested in porting NeHe tutorials C++ OOP style?
I wouldn''t mind giving this a go. However, I use BCB, not MSVC, so if I were to post them, the MSVC guys may need to modify them. But it sounds fun AND useful.

Yeah, i''d be keen also to see some OOP ports.

I have my own [shit-house] c++ code for my project, and i''ve seen some other peoples public oo code, but it would be interesting to see some OO tutes......

Oh, Andy, where are u from in QLD? I''m up here in Noosa having a blast of a time [x-mas time off from work], but today was a wee bit dull with some crap weather =( Interesting to hear where OGL Aussies are from...

As luck would have it I''m working on a multi-platform capable OOP class library that includes OpenGL support! I''m writing tutorials on how I wrote all the code and everyting so that anyone can learn what I did. I have the code for everything I''ve got done so far posted on my site at http://tannara.2y.net/ anyone that want''s to contribute to the code is welcome to submit there ideas. While this isn''t a direct port of nehe''s code I did start with his code when I was learning OpenGL so you''ll probably see some simularitys in the OpenGL part. It''s kinda hard to write something in a different way when theres only one right way to do it!

That''s actually how PortaLib3D started out, I just wanted to get a common code base for the NeHe tutorials so that there wasn''t cutting and pasting all the time, but there is something to be said for the ease of compiling single file tutorials

Since, PortaLib has gone a bit above and beyond (although I still haven''t got extensions in there yet

Check it out if you like - link in the signature. I''ve been doing OOP for 8 years and I''m still learning stuff
