KDE Sound problem, Gnome Sound is fine

Okay I log into the GUI under Gnome and it recognizes my soundcard, the soundcard detection finds my card just fine. I log into the KDE which came with Fedora 4 and the first error message is "Could not connect to sound card for playback will use the NULL device."
