Does anyone have any suggestions for making convincing low budget engine sound effects?
Depends what type of engine you want. I would suggest you grab every piece of machinery that has a motor in your house, record them and then mix them together at will.

What do you want it for? I might beable to whip something up for you.

Hey thanks for the offer.

I need snowmobile sounds. I've never even been in snow so I couldn't even tell you where to start with a snowmobile. Basically I need acceleration, airtime acceleration, engine strain on inclines, etc etc etc.

See the problem with recording the sounds is the fact that I don't have a boom mic handy or a snowmobile handy right now. I don't even have snow since I'm in SoCal and all. So yeah...if you have any alternate solutions they would be greatly appreciated.

Also I know you have a project going for you already, but if you're interested in doing another one then we should chat.
You can contact me on msn at simonbowerbank@hotmail.com

Dont bother emailing me there because i dont check it
