Detect Note (Audio) Line In

I want to be able to capture audio from Line In, and detect what note it is (an E, A#, whatever). What library is the best for doing that?
M&S might be better suited for this. I'll move it there.

Im not 100% sure what you mean, this might be useful though -

I use a piece of freeware software called 'AP Guitar Tuner' , it uses the mic in (not line) - and tells you what note is being played - in semitones and centitones.
I figured it out. Using FMOD and a Spectrum function, I could figure out which frequency was dominate. Anyway, thanks for the help.
