I am writing a simple OGL program and was wondering if there was anyway with OpenIL to load an image either specifying to make a certain color with 0 alpha and all others with 1.0 alpha, or to create mask, or something like that. I looked at the docs and there doesnt seem to. I tought there must be a way to do it considering its supposed to do a lot. I wanted is easy way to do a transparency effect without resorting to creating masks myself with a paint program, and tought it could save me some time.
WHO DO THEYTHINK THEY'REFOOLING : YOU ?
I am not positive, but if you use TGA files just use the alpha channel in the paint program and the transparency should be right in opengl... I''m probably wrong though because I don''t know much about them file formats
Good Luck!

There used to be a feature for this, but I removed it from the public scope for a few reasons. I am planning on adding back in the key colour support soon, so please bear with me.
