Title says it all, really. I've written a mud engine and am considering releasing the source. It's built on top of a dead simple database and the scripting language AngelScript. I want to guage interest in it before I go to the trouble of packaging it up. It will only compile as-is inside MSVC8.0. You will need to add a path to your include directory list and to your library directory list. You will also need boost. I've mostly lost interest in the project because I don't really have the time to set up and run a server. It's not quite complete. The engine is there, but the things you would normally associate with a mud - commands, monsters; they aren't.
Would be nice to take a peek at :)

Yeah, that'd be really neat to look at! Its been awhile since I've seen any _new_ mud codebases, and getting a little tired of reading the same old ROM and Dawn of Time stuff all the time ;)

I'm working on one myself, using XML as a db backend, with a whole slew of features I felt a good mud could use, but it's a backburner project itself, have a lot to do first, would be nice to see some other people's work though!
