Lock screen doesn't work as root on Fedora

Hi, It's not really a major problem, but I've noticed the same issue on 2 different machines running FC3 (GNOME) - it doesn't seem like it's possible to lock the screen when logged on as root? Well, it doesn't work when I try it at least. Is this correct, or am I missing something?
