Hi, I was just wondering how can I burn a folder tree (i.e, how do I burn with folders) using mkisofs (please dont recommend any GUIs for burning as Im not interested in that)??? So far, all the contents of all folders when creating the ISO are merged into the root of the CD. Ive tried googling for it but havent succeeded, and I cant find a suitable flag for the task in the man pages (or maybe I havent understood all of em clearly) BTW, I do know that mkisofs makes the ISO image and cdrecord burns it, just in case!!! Thanks
mkisofs -r -o image.iso -graft-points folder1=/home/user/folder1

That way, with graft-points youre telling Linux to mount the "/home/user/folder1" folder into "folder1" at the CD, rather than copying all of the files of that folder to the root of the CD

Hope that helps
