Isn't there a gameshow like this called Supermarket Sweep? I remember seeing it during the day on weekdays, when I was sick and home from school. Perhaps it would appeal to the untapped video-game demographic of bored housewives?
The whole idea is diabolically bad. I should sue you for wasting my time.

I got this kind of game for free a few years ago (from a local market as a part of marketing campaign). Needless to say it was rather horrible :). I didn't play it very much.
If the game was like mario cart double dash or biker mice from mars (on the snes), i'd buy it. And what kind of help do you need??

When not in a game development studio, program with passion for fun, dont do it for money, because thats not realistic. Some of the best shareware games that i actually bothered to toss a $20 bill at were just too darned fun not to get the full version...

Guess what. If it's fun, people will buy it. Some of the best games out there are based in totally incredulous situations.. it doesn't matter.

Look up the word: McGuffin and you'll understand.
