Hi. Imagine a little program that reads and displays a drawing in DXF format. The picture consists only of lines, circles and arcs. Now, I would like to pick (select) an entinty with my mouse. How do I do it? Something like AutoCad does --> the cursor changes into a small rectangle so that it is easier to "hit" the entity. The program automatically figures out which entity you selected. Does the program have to process all the pixels in the rectangle cursor and look for the right entity? I hope I have explained my problem so that someone can understand it.
