Finale tempo problem!
I'm using Finale 2000, and I get certain tempo problems. I compose my music and change the tempo with the tempo tool. Once finished, when I save it as a MIDI the tempo is reseted to normal. In consecuence, my music is too slow. Is there a way to save it as MIDI without the tempo being reducted? I don't want to multiplicate the note time in my work!!
I know my English sucks, so please I only ask for some patience. :)
I can't help you, but I've never exported a midi from Finale and had it come out right. Finale's more for notation.
You can get a better midi sequencer, open up the exported midi in that, and speed it back up to the desired tempo.

You can change the playback speed in Finale and then save it as a midi; that should save the bpm setting. At least this always works for me.
Well, I did that already. But I got another solution! I save it as midi and open it with other midi sequencer programs (like GuitarPRO), and then modify the tempo parameter and save it again as midi. Its a little anoying but I get what I want!
Thanks for the help anyway!
