i need plugin for 3ds max5 that's make me save my models in .md2 format :) thanks all bye! ff8
I don't know any plugin that does that but you can use MilkShape3D <http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/ms3d/download.html> to convert .3ds files to .md2, .md3 or whatever format you want... it's worth a try ;)

THere's no plugin but I am pretty sure there is a tool (qedit?) that will take 3ds files and make them MD2. Look in the id ftp site for quake 2 source code it is in there somewhere. I don't remember how it works though and I think it would be easier to use Milkshape.

thanks all for your helps
may be i'll try MilkShape 3D ;)
bye

LMAO!
heh heh heh, that's funny, funny stuff...
anyhoo, RightHemisphere's Deep Exploration program should do the trick very nicely for you. It's a wonderful tool, better than Polytrans ever was, very easy to use. I just fired mine up to look at the files I can open or save as, and all your Quake stuff is covered, saw it with my own eyes. Don't mention it, glad to help.
A comment on the above hilarity: capitalism is made healthier by cracks. Most ware companies know this. Cracks are far from perfect, are always missing certain helpful niceties like Help, Tutorials, libraries or whatever, not to mention you can't get tech support; because of this, the vast majority of pro's or hopefuls who use a tool for very long will want a legitimate copy, and won't mind paying for it. Cracks allow real users to really figure out what they are going to end up with as frequent tools. Because of cracks, sales go up, not down. There is nothing more discouraging than ending up with a bunch of stuff you paid a lot of money for, that you can't use.
