Modeling software for detailed models

LMAO! These pirating accusations are getting out of hand. It's all relative. If I buy a decent leather wallet, but then later decide to buy a more expensive one, is that crazy? Hell no. If you have a lot of cash, why not throw it around ignorantly?

It's getting to where a guy must think carefully before he asks a simple question around here. I own all of the software on my home PC, but I'm still afraid to ask questions about them on GameDev. It's likely I'll get banned. Is this really what the mods are trying to accomplish?

I bought an Academic licence for Cinema 4D which saved me thousands of dollars. I can't use it for commercial gain, but at least it gets me practicing. In my view, Cinema 4D is probably the best software for games modelling, it's very easy to use. You can also export sceens to an XML document, so reading model files is also very easy to do.
