well, we''ve assumed so far that the games will be installed on the hard drive. Personally, I think the hard drive will be used to preload data from the game disc into a cache which it will erase when the game is over, or when a new disc is popped in. Other hard drive space might be used for game patches(??) and or extra add-ons you can download from the net. Note that the last two reasons are purely speculatory. I know 8 gigs is a lot of HD space just for a cache, but that''s my guess. Commen sense says you don''t want to fill up the hard drive right?
