I like the visualisation a LOT - I''ll change the link I''ve just put up in the Forum FAQ

I like the visualisation, but I hate the ads . Owell, I will host a new site at crosswinds then for the doc... But I will keep the doc at all its original locations...

sites for the doc are:
Crosswinds
Tripod
Angelfire

I hope to stick up a dedicated site sometime as well. Thanx all for your efforts . Once I get that dedicated server that I have been looking for, the doc will have a permanent home, feel free to distribute this around the net though...

NEW CHALLENGE: Add a link to the doc to as many search engines as possible . That ought to broaden the audience

Again: Thanx

MKV: Can I steal your goblin pic (from the goblin board) and give him a banner that says "End Goblin Genocide"?

Sure you can, Dwarf! That''s what open-source is for
I''ll be glad to have my art all over your document.

dwarfsoft,
I would like to post this on my website I don''t have any banners or advertisments which should make some of you happy, for that matter I don''t have much content at all, save the links page Oh, btw, my site is
LINK

I know it is opensource... but thought I would let you know first.

Sure dak, go ahead. It would be great to get this distributed all over the net. I would like for people to hear all of your ideas . I am going to have to compile a list of different links to it now .

On an opensource note: I think that the doc should be editable, but you should have to state that you edited it next to the version number (don''t update the version number, just add your additional version system). Then email me that you have done an edit (dwarfsoft@crosswinds.net) and a link to the u/l of the doc. Then I can compile them all and distribute a new doc . Sound good? That way everybody can add a peice, and then I am just there to clean up the scraps into a nice neat pile

A lot of the topic in the DOC can also be found in the requirements analysis for my ow project. Some of the topics are discussed in my detail. Try looking at this -
some of you might find things worth putting into the DOC.

Chapter 10 and 14 are the most relevant to this forum.

It looks promising. It is too late for me to do a revision at the moment, but I will try to do one this weekend. I will read through your doc between now and then and see what inspires me

Well, for every one who wants to host th enhanced DOC here is a zip that contains all the necessary files. Please place all of them in the same folder.
http://ancientcode.webjump.com/Future.zip

I''m not going to enter the DOC''s link in any search engine cause the DOC is not connected to my site and my site is not finished.

Here these words vilifiers and pretenders, please let me die in solitude...
Cool, I have set up a site specifically for the doc again at crosswinds:

http://www.crosswinds.net/~rpgfuture/

I have not put anything there yet, I have to get to a computer that allows binary downloads. This will be one of the two ABSOLUTELY PERMANENT spots for the doc, and the two places with the quickest update uploading times. Crosswinds/~dwarfsoft/ and Crosswinds/~rpgfuture/ are the two places that I will always update . But if I ever fall from being able to update the doc, at least now I can just pass a new site to someone else... And now I can give out the password to people who want to update it

One note: I am using crosswinds because they don''t stick banner adds on your site, and they allow you to have an unlimited site (if it is not for business purposes you have unlimited space) . The only drawback is that you can''t have cgi... everything must be HTML or a script... But I don''t see this as a problem

OK, RPGFUTURE now has somewhat of an actual site there (for the time being). The temporary site has links to most of the important stuff. Things to note: There is a forum dedicated to the doc over at ezboard, you can access this from the site... I would like to know what people think .

It is not a permanent site, just there until I can upload the HTML version of the doc and do some editing using Dreamweaver. All that plain HTML really does start to mess with your head after a while
