Hey all, I''ve decided that a Tetris-type game would be simple as a first game, but I totally have no idea about using graphics in games, as I''ve only used text before. Does anyone know any decent tutorials for graphics, or even a step-by-step tutorials for a tertris game?? Danny Danny@Tuppeny.cjb.net
There are some good articles on this stuff at gamedev.net, just browse over the articles.

If you''re using windows, go to www.download.com and search for CGTetris...you can download the game and the source code! If I remember correctly, it''s in C/C++ and all Win32, no DirectX. Once you understand how it works, try modifying the code to use DirectX...Hope that helps! :-)
