Is there anyway to rename a file to a long filename in a DOS box? I am backing up some files but they are of the long filename type. If I use the ren command at the prompt it will show up as a long filename in Windows. But if I use the system() command in my program to do the same thing it won''t work. So can anything be done with Borland or am I going to have to try and find a free Win32 compilier?
