Building nature scene in 3dsmax
Hi all,
These days I am making a nature "game" for my girlfriend.I have a 3dsmax script to export max world and lightmap to my game format,so I create world in 3dsmax.There are questions:
1.To create a terrain,which method is the best way for a game?
(I use "displace ")
2.To create lightmap,which kind of light is the best way for a outdoor scene?(Actually my problem is If I use omni to lite the world,because of the lack of polygon number,the shadow will be wrong.So I use skylight to lite the world,but the render speed is tooooooo slow)
3.To generate tree,I wanna HIGH polygon in max for generate the lightmap,and LOW polygon in my own game.And the LOW polygon tree should looks like the HIGH polygon tree as the same.How can I do?Or which plugin can do?
