I am a new designer

I am a new designer and I understand that design is real work, typing up hundreds of facts about the game. However, I would love to see a good example of what a good/bad design document looks like. Does anyone have one that I could use? I have found plenty of books and helps on the subject, but I would rather not learn this by trial and error. I therefore, ask if any would be willing to help me with a much greater knowledge in the field. In other words:do you have a design document that was particularly impressive that I could use as a guideline? Or a step by step how to design paper? Any genre would work, but I would prefer an RTS. Thank you in advance. "The fell winds blow, The darkness grows, And I, I stand alone."

When describing a video game design doc to someone that''s never seen one, I compare it to an instruction booklet and a strategy guide for a game, with a bit more technical information. TBH, it''s a good place to start.
