ok after reading a post about codewarrior last night I decided to check into it a little more. It interested me because its multi-platform and currently I''m working on development for mutli-platform so it sounds like a good option.
but I have a few questions about it.
1. what object format does it use or can use? I''m mostly interesed in COFF.
2. I''m thinking about buying the Windows version(maybe if its realy good I''ll buy the linux version) how hard would it be to use the Windows version to compile binnarys for Linux Mac Other using the windows version. Do I have to buy a plug-in? am I going to have to play with the under the hood stuff or is it just click on a check box and it does it?
3. Can it do DOS apps? not the console apps but real full-blown 32-bit dos app.
4. I''m guessing that you can create DLLs and stuff, but how about librarys that other compilers can link with like MSVC Borland DJGPP ect. and what about ELF(linux) librarys?
any help on this would be great. =)
