Collision Detection - When
My question is nothing to do with the maths behind it, I have that sorted, surprise surprise!
But, how do you decide when something needs checking against what?
Any tips?

Do u use some kind of Datasorting?
If yes, just check your player against everything in your "room"
or what your datasorting presents to be near your player.
if you don't use data sorting you'll have to test it against everything... *though*
When? well, u'll have to test that...
something like everything 1/100 sec? maybe 1/10 sec?
U just gotta test it...it really depends on what u'r doing....
