I haven’t been able to find any decent flowchart software, at least not that would let me step down from the overview into the script segments themselves . . . of course, it could just be that my google skills are failing me.

I’ve been trying to avoid writing tools whenever I could download them, but if I were to grind out a MFC app for scriptwriting, is that something anyone else would be interested in using? Would be a free download if there’s enough desire out there for me to write it.

I''m a little confused, what do you mean by "over view" in to "script segments"? In the examples you gave, you just had a fairly standard looking dialogue tree.
