I am writing an RPG that has real good everthing except for one thing: the characters clothing. I wanted to do something different than the usual RPG, where all of the characters have Eastren, Samurai type clothing. I want the characters clothing to look really Western. One problem: I don''t really have a clue what the heck westren clothing is supposed to look like. it''s not really like I care, untill I need it for something practical-like a game. I suppose I wear the stuff every day, but I still don''t know generally what it is supposed to look like. I would show you guys the ideas I have on paper right now, but I don''t have a scanner. However, though I want the character''s clothing to be Westren in nature, I want thier weapons to look Eastern. Big swords, etc. Is this a good combination? Also, the characters themselves will look Western. If you guys could post pictures that''d be great! My Kung Fu is stronger. neo88

If you''re thinking "Western" as in western flicks (you know, the ol'' cowboys and indians stuff) then look into Wild ARMs. The first two games were for PSX and the third for PS2. I like the character designs from the third game personally. I can''t post pics, but the series is popular, so you should be able to find pics easily enough if this has caught your interest.

Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil...prayer,
fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the
double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon...

AP: What if I don''t watch TV?
Is all of this stuff going to be casual? Blue jeans, etc. Is there anything that is semi-dressy? Or has Westren civilation disegrated beyond the ability for us to wear this kind of stuff. The stuff you guys have is really good, but like I said in my first post, I would like to see some ideas in pictures. Although I can get the general idea from words, I am more of a visual learner.
