Anyone here familiar with OpenAL distance models? I have tried setting the distance model using AL_INVERSE_DISTANCE and AL_INVERSE_DISTANCE_CLAMPED and both sound exactly the same and it sounds as if it clamps the gain on both. I have set many different levels for AL_ROLLOFF_FACTOR, AL_REFERENCE_DISTANCE and all values (cept 0.0f for rolloff) sound the same. Setting the AL_MAX_DISTANCE has an effect as to when the source gain fades out, but it never fades to 0, even when using AL_INVERSE_DISTANCE (non-clamped). Anyone in the know could please offer me some pointers I would be greatly appreciated.
