Hrm - some of you may or may not know about the game design thread
Recently there's been a post about what's with stats. And not before too long had it become off topic that we were discussing how to generate a computer intelligence that could figure out how to generate a compelling and non-linear story within a given environment. The usual "neural-network" came up and other such things that are used for just about an Ai problem. What alternative solutions do you AI people see here? God knows I was the person that spurred on the creation of this forum way back in the days when this was gameprog.com
If you guys don't answer I'll just assume that you are actually too dead to talk right now.
