What sort of artwork are you looking for? Pen and Paper Sketches/Concept art? Pixel art? Rendered 3D models?

What sort of setting are you looking for? Fantasy? Contemporary? Sci fi?

What sort of artistic style are you after? Simple Cartoons? Anime? Realistic?

Are there any technical limitations? Image size/colour depth? Do you require animations/different rotations?

Finally, what''s in it for the artist? Are you prepared to pay (which might get you more interest) or is it strictly for free (you may still get some interest, but you may have to be a bit less fussy about the quality you get)
