So, I downloaded Red Hat Linux 9 from their FTP site after which I chekced the downloads with MD5SUM. I then burned the three ISOs to CD-ROMs. Problem? I can''t friggin'' boot from CD 1!! I serisously don''t get it. (And yes, I can boot from my CD-ROM no problem)....eh?

You downloaded the ISO images? And you got the Install CDs, not the SRPM CDs?

Yeah, correct. Actually I figured something must be wrong with the CD''s or something so I went down to a bookshop and bought Red Hat Linux 9 (that way I also got a big ass book) very cheap. But it''s the same!!! Imagine my surprise. Hmmm...I just don''t get it. Must be some hardware stuff (although I can boot from my Win XP CD!)

You did go into your bios and turn off PnP and set your first boot to the cd, right?
What (if any) error messages or other information is displayed on the screen? Do you even get the kernel boot prompt?
It was a hardware error. It''s corrected now....wow that took some hours to fix!!
