I was only quoting the 3dfx Spokeman, but I believe it, the new Athlons(Mustang), then I promise you that by Sledge Hammer, a Geforce will be slower with T&N on, then off. Lets wait a year and see, remind me when Sledgehammer comes out. Also, No Athlon on any Chipset should be run with a flakey Power Supply. A high quility 300W Power Supply is the only way to go. Also, I just gotta tell yal that a AMD750 with SB(Super Bypass) easily outperforms a KX133 LOOK AT BECHMARKS, but dont listen 2 me, i go crazy now n way, bye
The AMD 750 does outperform the kx133...if the kx133 is running with 100mhz memory. This is like comparing an optimized system to an unoptimised system.kx133 supports 133mhz memory which makes it about 30% faster then it is at 100.I''ve run Sandra with my 550 with my memory at 133Mhz, the memory test outperforms their scores for their 650.It also has agp 4x, fast writes, lower power consumption, and probably something I''m leaving out. Also, how do you know what stepping of the chipset your getting? its not marked anywhere on the chipset; do you ask your vendor to plug the board in so you can run the utility to find out? not likely.

I wouldn''t care if the 750 was 900% faster, if its going to crash any thing I try to do in windows (which it has done), and basically make my system a paperweigth, I''m going to pick the kx133.It also had a problem with data (for example, when writing a cd or using my network). It would mess up the 6th bit at least once per write; that''s enough to make a cd garbage and any network transmission a failure (in linux too == hardware issue. No my hardware isn''t crap, this is the only time its ever consistantly failed outside of windows).I''ve never seen such a multitude of problems in any system I''ve ever owned or built.

In short:

AMD 750 chipset
Via KX133 chipset
Anything besides the AMD 750 chipset and Via KX133

Sorry about the ranting, but that chipset made me a very angry person.

I never had Problems with my Asus V3400 TNT1 ok it is a bit old now, but it has excellent TV in and Out Features. And as far as i know it is the same for the GeForce cards. Asus Support is realy cool, i mean they have the 5.22 Detonator in their newest Asus Drivers. And they are upgrading their drivers very fast to the newest from NVIDIA.
They also have the cards with most extras and normaly build their own designs instead of using the standard reference Boards. And so they where the fastest and most overclockable Cards (mostly).

And Nvidia has some Big Advantages, just look for their tutorials on the developer website (www.nvidia.com/developer).
They hav such much Features on that Card, and then they explain them to you, could there be a better Company ? (i am not from NVIDIA, i just like them)
