Working Title : School Tails. Hello again all. I''m working on my humerous anime RPG at the moment. Heres the back info, it takes place during first semester at Demeter Private Girls School in an small isolated town. The main character lives in an abadonded dorm the was given to them by their mysterious grandfather after he died. Also the main character is not a normal person instead they are one of the following amusing anime archtypes: 1)Magic Girl - You can transforms into a girl with magical powers, fighting crime and protecting love and justice in the name of the earth. 2)Alien - Alien princess from another planet, has come to earth in surch of a mysterous relic. Has the power of item soul when you gether enough of an outfit you gain the ability the powers of theat outfit. So if you have 99 police uniforms you can transform into a policewoman. 3)Shinobi - An exiled ninja living in the modern day. With array of ninja skills and items. 4)Witch - you can create magic spells by gathering the correct ingriedents and saying the right incantations. 5)Cross Dresser - Your really a guy posing as a girl in order to goto to the private school, as final joke from your grandfather in order to claim your inheritance. of course those are just your secert identies most of the time you act just like a normal person. ITs important to note this game isn''t suppose to take its self to seriously it also a simulation game similar to princess maker. You play a character of the course of three months. After which you will be given an ending depending on how you lived those three months. I''ve decied to make stats qualitative instead of quanitive, so instead of having a fitness of 5 you''d have a rating of fitness average. There will be no levels instead your stats and skill improve progressively through use. stats: Fitness Cordination Brains Work Ethic Charm Beauty Fatigue Health There will be some combat I haven''t decieded on how to handle this yet but it maybe be turn based for simplistiy sake. Also there will finite amounts of enimes so it will be possible to catch/kill every criminal and there might be the apearance ofr of a giant monster for laughs. Mini games - There will a bunch of these hopefully, at they will also provied progressive improvements to stats and skills. WoodCutter - chop wood improves fitness and provides wood... Crime Fighter - Fight crime. Cat Burgler - steal from buildings without getting caught. ... Amusing events there will be a lot of these that can happen through the course of the game, some while be class specific for instance shinobi - oppertunity to try and steal the final exam answers. CrossDresser- the oppertunity have various girls move in with you and possible having the other 4 girls living in your house. side actives and secerts. I want to have a bunch of secerts that are a spoofs on well know things some of these will be unlocked after playing through the game. Secerts: 1) School Tails Collectable Cards - Yes after plaything through once you will get the oppertunity to purchase packs of STCC from the local game story. Think of the fun of collecting cards depicting the character, places, events and items. Brag to your friends how you have both the Curry shop and the Shoe card!!! Can you collect them all? The main gameplay will consist of playing the characters life, juggling, school, work, secert life, and social life. Overall I want chive a game that can be played through in a few hours, but has enmours replability since no to games will be played the same way and there will be a diffrent ending each time depending on how you play. Sounds like quite an interesting game. I did think it was going to be a dating game when I started reading.

You really do need another secret identity:

Member of Secret Organisation: Your character is a member of a secret organisation trying to save the small isolated town from mysterious invaders. You can probably pilot some sort of giant robot.

Or you could add this as a secret of some kind.

Some of the mini games seem like they could be a little hard to fit into the game, I can''t really see why anyone would want to chop wood. Maybe the character can choose certain classes to attend and count those classes as mini games as well.

Anyway it seems like a good idea, if you can manage to implement it all .

Of course how could I forget about giant robots in anime game. Anyone else have anythoughts? Are there no anime fans in the forum?

I''m not really a big fan of anime, more from not being into it rather than any particular dislike. I think it sounds like it would be funto play (and make probably). I agree with Blacksmith_Tony though. While the mini games could be a blast if they''re good (especially if you can play them multiplayer outside the main game), make sure they''re relevant, not like chopping wood. There must be a more entertaining way to gain fitness.
