Recommend DSP book
Can anyone make a recommendation for a DSP book that is software oriented?
There''s a second edition of ''Numerical Recipes in C'', which I was considering, but was hoping to find something a little more solid. The code is awful (though functional) and it seems a little light on theory & discussion.
Seems like the code could/should be on an accompanying CD, and the book ought to focus on the more theoretical aspects.

Someone recommended a book about programming in C for TI C62x DSP cards, and they said that it was very broad and wasn''t specific to the TI DSP-they covered most general topics with examples in TI DSP C. I forget the title and such, but I know it was on amazon.com with high ratings. I didn''t get it, though, because we''re still in the design phase of the project that might need it.
I have a copy of Don Morgan''s Practical DSP Modeling, Techniques, and Programming in C. Here''s the ACCU review. They rank it as good, but not good enough to become a standard text.
