Dinosaur Sounds
I need a sound fx for a raptor, or other similiar creatures, anyone have any idea where I can find, or how I could create such sounds?
Since no one has ever heard a dinosaur, you can make up whatever sound you like.
They made the raptors in Jurassic Park sound like birds. Try taking various bird samples and messing with the pitch and modulations and stuff.

The bigger the animal, the lower the sound it makes. So maybe a raptor should be a bird sound lowered a lot. Frequency I imagine would be inversely proportional to size.
They say giraffes cannot make any vocal sound at all. That may be because its neck is so long that its voice is below the audible range, and the same may hold true for many dinosaurs having long necks.

Definately use animal sounds. Elephants for the big ones and seagulls for the flying screeching ones... process them though. Crow caws or frog croaks might be useful too. Simply experiment.
