Word game idea

Here''s an idea that occurred to me the other day. How about a kind of reverse boggle game? You''d start with a certain sized grid (grids could be different sizes and shapes, most likely starting simple and getting wickeder as you go along), and then you''d have to fill in letters in such a way that each letter formed one or more words, Boggle fashion. Each turn you''d get one (or possibly more, depending on difficulty level and its effects toward balance) letter to place wherever in the grid you wanted to so that it''d complete the most words with whatever letters are already there. If you get to a point where you can''t complete a word with the letter(s) you have, then the game ends. (Of course for this idea, the grid would have to start with at least 2 letters or wildcards in place, otherwise your first letter wouldn''t form a word and you''d lose, heh.) I''m thinking it might be neat to have a required number of words or filled squares in order to get to the next level, however you could choose to progress to the next level any time after meeting this requirement. Thus, it''d be possible to fill all the squares in the grid, and you''d get a bonus for doing so, although getting to the next level would probably never require this. Scoring would be sort of Scrabble fashion, with harder to use letters being worth more when included in a word, and with adding letters to a pre-existing word giving you points for the new word (i.e. if you already have FACE in place and you add an S, you''d get points for FACES). You could also form multiple words in one move, possibly getting bonus score from it (i.e. if you place an R in such a way as to spell RANGE and HAIR at the same time, you''d get points for both words, and possibly a bonus for spelling 2 words at once). The game could also have special tiles, such as wildcards or blockers or bombs or what have you, depending on what would be required for game balance. Some squares might also have bonus multipliers on them, Scrabble fashion. The dictionary the game uses should also be pretty big, since there''s nothing I hate more than playing a word game where it doesn''t recognize SHIT, heh. Anyway this isn''t something I''m able to program, I just thought I''d throw the idea out and see if anyone liked it, heh.
If a squirrel is chasing you, drop your nuts and run.
