Two New Ideas
Ok, now im not proposing to make this, but i just had these two ideas and i wanted to know what everyone else thought about them:
1) You Are the planet, or a being that molds the face of the earth from the inside using different equipment, and you have to stimulate life so that the life becomes intelegent enough to save the earth from disaster in the far future.
2) A Plug and Play Online Game. You start in a Circular room, which eight coridors leading off from it, and a few items, and then the corridors are caved in or locked until another Developer plugs in a "room" modularly, with its own physics and stuff, and then that door becomes unlocked, and theres another corridor leading out from that room, and its locked until someone fills up the rest of the eight and adds one onto it, creating a massive universe, and each room has its own "game" so they are like portals to small universes, and mabee several developers can get together and link their "rooms" into one game.
I know these ideas would be a pain in the butt to make, but im just wondering what you thought about the idea. Personally, i like the second one better. Feed back please.

Idea 1.
Sounds a bit like Sid Meier''s Sim Earth, which was more of a playing toy than a game really.
Good idea, if implemented in a fun way.
Idea 2.
Hmm, I don''t see what you''re supposed to do in the rooms? Make one game per room? With which language or tools? What would be the benifits?

1) Theres already a game like it? Oh. Well i was thinking of a system where your at the center of the earth, and theres a Void Well or something, and you pull out chunks, and send them through different chemicals and stuff to taint them to determine what kind of geographical feature they would become, and then if it was a mountain, you could have it spread into a perfectly flat sheet, and have a grid and raise certain points to create the shape of the mountain you want.
2) The point would be to have millions of games, all on one engine/server, and to give each person the oppertunity to develop. Use any language to develop the rooms, and in each room it has its own "module" or series of descriptions, and then you just "plug and play" the .exe. And there would be a number of descriptions that the programming would have to define, like "Physics" they could use the default, which is the base, or develop their own, and "Controls" where the default would be just walking around like in a RPG, etc.

Well, Sim Earth is like 10 years old, and not a very good game, so don''t be too worried about that

They both sound interesting
I would suggest you check out www.habbo.com.. its similar to your second idea however its not room to room.. and its not really programmed by a player.. but people set up rooms to be little games, ie triva or races..
the only thing I''d have to say about not liking the second idea is that rooms closer to the center would be more likely to be played and what if your friend made a room on the other side of the universe you''d have to play through hundreds of rooms to see it..

Ok, then heres a Revision too number two:
Each room just contains a "Portal" to another universe, along with advertisements etc. Then, you dont have to play it, you just have to walk through it until you found the one you liked.
And as for habbo, i used to go there, but i dont anymore, its a waste of time i think.
