Thought I''d start a thread where people can post they feel are best in game moments of all time. Action scene: Megaman 2 - quickman''s stage that part where you have to dodge laser beams. Funneist scene: Fallout 2- the drunken priest gives you a copy of the fallout 2 hint book, after you''ve already one the game. Villian Confrentation: CronoTrigger - Facing Magnus in battle.
Destruction of the world in FF6. No contest.

Most happy moment - When you succeed in making a really odd move in NetHack, such as discovering the Knight Jump, make a flamethrower with an oil potion and a torch, kick a kitchen sink, etc.
Abnormally large and solar energy charged!
Bestest moment evar: Somewhere in DoDonPachi(around level 5, maybe?) where there are a lot of enemies and bullets :D The reason is probably that the BPS(bullets per second) is at the perfect level. Racking up a 500 kill combo is not that hard there(unless you die, which you will x_X), in the end of the game the BPS is just too high(I'm thinking about the last boss), probably something like 100 x_X;; Stupid wasps.

Intro to Brood Wars:

Marine: "Who''s in charge here?"
gets no reply
"Where''s the air support?"
Firebat points up towards the battle cruiser

The beginning of Half-Life. I was actually huddling in the corner of the room after trying the door and the green energy was building up, staring up at it in awe, or fear, or whatever you feel when you''re helpless and amazed at the same time.

I''d have more to list if in X-Wing you could skim along the Death Star faster, or capital ships in TIE Fighter would explode satisfyingly.
It's not what you're taught, it's what you learn.
