Hello, everyone. I was looking around for ideas for my science fair this year, and thought this would be a great place to find some. Last year, I made a board game with rules much like Connect 4 which included a genetic algorithm that used hardcoded weights to strategically play against an opponent. After reading some information on neural networks, I''ve decided to do a project using this. I''ve been thinking of creating a program that would read through a growing database of individual baseball players'' statistics and forecast stats for the next season (much like stock market predictions). However, I haven''t seen any simplistic tutorials that explain how to start this project off. I would appreciate some help with this project I''ve already thought up, or any unique/fun ideas that I could use instead for my project (it must be something I can test a hypothesis on). Thanks! =)
Well, I suppose you could start of by looking at

And then you''ll understand better what to expect from your system.

Not heard NN being used to predict individual human activities like baseball or soccer, but well, you never know, you could become a pioneer in the field.

Hope it helps and apologies for the delay in replying.
