... well, I know, this is supposedly a little out of place. But since I don´t know where else to go ... I would be glad about any help. Why is it that I can´t save a photoshop image in png format without the programm bugging me that I have to save it as copy and even worse .. it wont let me save the alpha channel along, it seems ! The background to this is that I want to load textures into my particle engine that have no background. So if I need a green circle I just wanna have the green circle ... nothing else. And I figured I´d have to do this with 32 bpp images (like png) cause I need the alpha channel ! Have a nice evening ... Twist

SuperPNG is a great free replacement exporter plugin for the standard one that comes with photoshop. Fixes all the little f**k-ups that Adobe has in theirs, namely the ability to save alpha channels properly.

www.FlegDev.tkJust code it!
I also put my raccomandation on the gimp. I actually use it every time i need to manipulate images. The iterface is a bit different from other programs but once yu get it,you''ll find much more efficient.
