Looking for Blender advice...

Hello! I just installed Blender and I wonder if somebody could point me out some good tutorials to begin with or some tips take in consideration when using it. I would start with something very basic to understand the IDE, and then I would move into 2 Modeling with extruding etc. For begginers if possible. Thank you in advance. ok thank you all who arent complete and utter phychos j/k but i dont use blender sorry i am a worker of 3ds the next best modeler to maya get that. Anyways i have posted soem work on the next page of the forums list but i am much more capable than them now.

www.blender3d.org has some good tuturals to start with. check the link section, it has some good comunity links (most are non english)
Does someone know a easy way to blend a object in for exampel 16 difrent directions so u can use them in a Iso tile game?
