Animatrix: Second Renaissance action game
how about a game that puts you in the battle of man vs machines from the animatrix and the one (2 part) animated story called the Second Renaissance. have different maps for different battles and could fight as a machine or human in mechs, artillery and infantry and those sentinels and stuff. that would be pretty cool.
And it would infringe on multiple copyrights.
Team based combat or RTS though? That''s the REAL question.

Doesn''t seem all that different then many games out there now...Quake, C&C, or Starsiege with different player models and graphics...just a different "wrapping paper" theme around the same old gameplay box

Of coarse you would ask the person that made the second renaissance in the animatrix if you could make the game first. And no its not terminator thats entirely different. Also wouldnt be like other games like quake or C&C because of the environments and story line.

That would be the Wachowski brothers, and it would cost you both testicles.
Of course, given the way they''ve been marketing The Matrix, they are probably already planning such a game.

Yeah, right. Look at all the Star Wars games; how many of those have been any good?

Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast (brought a lot of new gameplay to the FPS)
Rogue Squadron series (derivative but still both successful and fun)
X-Wing, Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, X-Wing Alliance (all solid space explodey games)
