A Quick Question

Yes yes, I''m sure you''ve heard this said millions if not billions of times but I have a good idea for a game and plan to write a 100+ page game design document. Could this aid me to get a game design job by showing them this document or can I just send it to someone who would make it if it''s indeed good enough? OR should I just start my own company (I have a few million to spare) and get this game made? I know most people will say start your own company but I want to try and refrain from this for now...but if I simply have to I will.
It''s unlikely that any developer will accept an outside design document submission - and I don''t think that many companies hire designers right off without other experience unless your name is Tom Hall. I think your best bet is to form your own company, but I could be wrong. "If you want something done right, do it yourself".
