I love all these games, I wanted to see how much interest there was in a networked multiplayer game that let two players fight it out using a battle system similar to what''s used in these games. If you would be interested in such a game, please post.

Yes, I would be very interested in a game like this.

If I thought I was up to it, I would try to program something like that. I always wished that FF Tactics had a multiplayer mode.

Tactics Ogre has a 2 player battle mode. It''s not networked, however.

A game of that caliber made for networks or tcp/ip, it''d probably rival Starcraft. We''d stop complaining about rushers in here and start complaining about Steal Heart and Invitation.

If you don''t mind, please tell me what you would like in such a game. I just wanna see what I should consider adding.

myself and 2 other guys actually did this exact thing as our final project at Full Sail.

I found a lot of interest for it in the final fantasy tactics fan site boards...that''s the best place to look for info on what they''d like to see in it.
