I''m a starter in the game programming field and i''ve lots of problems. I would like to know if anyone can recomend me a free game programmer and also some tutorials. I really love games, but how to create and animate caracters in a game, that would be the koolest thing. Please help me. How can i start?
I would suggest getting tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus. It has everything you need to get started including a compiler and sample art programs and the complete DX SDK(software development kit). It isn''t free but it is worth it.
Not only that, but if you go to bm.com (barnes & noble) you can get it for $33 including shipping. You can only do that if you type GIFTDAD where it says something about coupons though. Otherwise its $43 w/shipping I think(Still $10 off). Also, the offer ends on the 18th of June so hurry. I got that info in an e-mail from B&N, cuz I bought from them before. Hopefully it will work for you too.
hope that helps

To edit your messages, look at the post header (Posted by __, date, ...) -- at the top of your post. Look at the third button to the right of it. If you hover your mouse on it, it will say "edit message".
