4) [High Seas] This looks the most promising of the lot, definitely. You can have beautiful tropical settings, cool ships, the fun of pirating other ships or defending against pirates, collecting treasure (in water and on land), doing land-based activities like maybe hunting or whatever, etc.
5) [Rennaisance] Maybe, but I have no idea what kind of game one can make in this setting.
6) [Samurai] Well Asians love this. Americans/Europeans prefer medieval European stuff because we're familiar with it; Japanese/Koreans prefer the Samurai stuff because they're familiar with that. In the highly fictionalized setting of an MMORPG, the only difference is the name and look of the weapons/costumes/etc.

Which MMORPG concept would you like to play?

It would be great to have a SAMURAI mmorpg in which you would have japanese buildings, infiltration missions (with a splinter cell like gameplay), and japanese elements culture everywhere. That could be a great mmorpg.
Darkhaven Beta-test stage coming soon.

LOL! I''m glad to see that people like the idea of a sea-based MMORPG; I thought of it also. Unfortunately, someone is already making it! (granted that it doesn''t look very substantial)
You can see what is being done with the idea at http://www.burningsea.com/

Yes, it does look a little bland to me also...I picture more of a game based off a world like the old cartoon by the name of "Pirates of Dark Water" maybe you''ve heard of it.
Ideas presented here are free. They are presented for the community to use how they see fit. All I ask is just a thanks if they should be used.
